Specializing in melodic, literate songs that are both spiritually and personally honest and probing, Andrew Thomas has won fans from all corners of the globe with his first release, the EP Young Man's Fancy.

Young Man's Fancy marries Thomas's piano-based songs of personal discovery to a contemporary pop beat. Musically, the disc is diverse in style, but rich in melody, influenced by popsmiths like Roddy Frame, Neil Finn, and David Gray. You may also hear the moody ambience of a David Sylvian, or the jazzy exuberance of a Stevie Wonder in his work. Lyrically, his songs are often autobiographical, an attempt to filter his own experience through the light of grace.

Having written songs since the age of 12, he honed his craft early on, crystallizing his vision in his first year of college as both a solo artist and member of the jam band Cone 50. Returning back home after a year, he began writing and reflecting, refining his personal songwriting style.

Joining up with a diverse group of blues musicians in 1996, he became part of the core of the psychedelic blues-rockers Kuno, who ruled the Central Massachusetts jam-band roost until late 1998.

Thomas has since moved to Portland, Maine, where he is currently recording songs for his upcoming full-length release, tentatively titled Prodigal Songs.
